Hi, just wanted to let you know that I'm a new convert to Vega. Not only do I get my protein but it is also a meal replacement. I've developed a lot of sensitivities and avoid anything unnatural these days so I was doubly pleased to be able to enjoy and tolerate this great new drink. I really had to take the time to write to you guys. Vega is the greatest product I have ever had, and the fact that it's also alkalizing is even more impressive. I really give this product two thumbs up but it truly deserves more, and it would get more if I had more handslol. The product is so healthful and it's helped me become far healthier than I could imagine. Before I found out about Vega I was only eating high acidic foods and the majority of my diet came from meats. This product has given me a total face lift and an attitude change towards vegans. I'm no professional bodybuilder (by a long shot!) but nevertheless have some experience with using protein supplements since the mid 1980's. I've used them all (including egg, milk & egg, soy, rice, spirluna, etc.) so I have an idea of what is out there and the different types of formulations and flavours available. I have been using a whey protein isolate formula exclusively for the last 6-7 yrs now. However, with all the recent and continuing controversy about animal derived products (Mad cow disease & the feeding of animal ruminants to cattle) I have been trying to wean myself off whey protein. When I came across an advertisement for Vega, I was quite intrigued. Now, having read "THRIVE" and tried the samples you sent me, I now believe I have a viable alternative to whey protein. The ingredients in Vega have obviously undergone careful consideration. I believe quality and flavour were first and foremost on your list when you formulated Vega. In my humble opinion, Brendan Brazier & your product development team deserve a standing ovation for this. Hip hip hooray! My favourite flavour is Natural. It has a naturally pleasant sweet flavour & mixes easily in water. It is most excellent! I love it!

Your book and website and your personal message have deeply motivated me and I have bought all necessaries today at Thrifty's for making your recipes and for doing a juice fast also. (I can't digest the soy or whey ones, and I tried the hemp protein but it is a bit hard on the tum). Then in a couple of days, there you were on a front page of the Times Colonist, and now I have the perfect high protein food! God at work!

I would like to offer some valuable feedback. I have been a student of herbalism for over 20 years and counting. As a result, I read every ingredient of every label of everything. In respect to protein powders, only in frustration did I create my own formulation of a protein drink with the first ingredient being hemp (been doing this for several years now). I work part time at a large health food store and I found the largest request with our clientele is protein drink mixes. I have characteristically sent them off with some power supplements and a canister of hemp protein, that is until I had the good fortune to try Vega. I wish to say that your formula is magnificent! The ingredients have been well researched and are appropriately balanced. I honestly cannot properly articulate how impressed I am with Vega. A few weeks ago I read on Brendan's website about this new product "Vega." I was THRILLED to have discovered a meal replacement that was entirely vegan b/c - as you know - they're not easy to find. I was disappointed, however, when I tried to use your store locator to purchase some near me, and it didn't work (assuming b/c I'm in the US)... so I had given up until yesterday, when I was in my Whole Foods in Chicago and was delighted to see a new Vega display! I tried the berry flavor, both the shake and the bar. I was really pleasantly surprised w/ the taste and, as an ex-athlete (NCAA Division I vegan athlete!) and now a runner, I couldn't be happier with all of the nutrients provided. I was a little sad about the price but, I agree, you get what you pay for. I will happily purchase this product again. Thanks so much for creating such a terrific VEGAN product!!
